Hey everyone!

We truly appreciate and value all of our customers. As we look ahead to our summer schedule, our son's baseball tournaments will have us traveling every Saturday.
Because of this, Tom's Bargain Spot will be closed on Saturdays throughout the summer.

Don't worry—we'll be taking the store phone home, so calls and texts are always welcome. If there's something you'd like to buy, sell, or pick up, we're happy to arrange a time in the evenings or even on our Sunday and Monday days off whenever possible.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued support. We couldn't do this without you, and we look forward to helping you all summer long while cheering on our baseball player! ⚾❤️

Hey everyone! It’s baseball season, and although we are generally open every Saturday, our son has quite a few tournaments coming up. Please check before making the trip over.

To the brilliant “hero” who thought it was their mission in life to report us to code enforcement for using a small propane heater behind our counter: congratulations, you officially made a hard situation even harder. If you’ve got that much time on your hands, please use it to stay as far away from our business as possible.

Tom’s Bargain Stop/Spot has been standing for over 30 years. Thirty. Years. We’ve heated this gigantic building every way imaginable—diesel heaters, torpedo heaters, propane, whatever it took—to keep the place warm enough to function without drowning in electric bills that are high enough to choke a horse. We are fighting every single day just to keep our doors open, and instead of supporting a small, locally run business, you decided to act like the “heat police” and create problems that never needed to exist.

You didn’t help anybody. You didn’t save anybody. What you did do was waste time, money, and energy for no reason other than whatever attitude you woke up with that morning. If you don’t like how we heat our tiny workspace (behind our counter)—simple solution—don’t come here. Don’t look our way. Don’t step foot on our property. Take your complaints and your bad vibes somewhere else.

We’ll continue heating our area the same way we’ve always done, and we’ll continue doing what we have to do to survive. ✌️ P.S Come down face to face. Love to chat about our "heating problem" ~ Amanda
